In some instances, our photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated.
Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers and/or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you’ve selected, we will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal value or higher value.
If any design elements are of major importance to your order, please include them in the florist instructions at checkout or contact us to ensure availability.
At Gather & Bloom Floral Design House, every arrangement is carefully designed, prepared, and delivered with the goal of arriving as fresh and beautiful as possible. Because flowers are delicate, perishable products, please review our delivery guidelines below before placing your order.
Delivery Timeframes & Scheduling
Standard Delivery Hours: Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Sunday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Same-Day Delivery Cutoff: Place your order by 2:00 PM local time (Mon–Fri) or 11:00 AM (Sat) for same-day delivery. Orders placed after the cutoff will automatically be scheduled for the next available business day.
Timed Delivery Requests: Specific delivery windows (e.g., "before 12:00 PM") are available for a priority dispatch fee during checkout. Otherwise, residential deliveries arrive between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, and business deliveries arrive before 5:00 PM.
Venue-Specific Delivery Conditions
Hospitals & Medical Facilities: Deliveries are made directly to the main reception or nurse's station per facility security guidelines. Please ensure the recipient's full name, room number, and department are provided.
Funeral Homes & Places of Worship: All sympathy arrangements are given top delivery priority to guarantee arrival at least one hour before the scheduled viewing or service time. Please ensure the recipient's name is the name of the deceased.
Gated Communities & Secure Buildings: A gate code, building unit number, or recipient phone number is required at the time of ordering.
Recipient Unavailability & Substitution Policy
Unattended Deliveries: If no one is available to receive the flowers, our driver will place them in a safe, shaded area near the entry and send a text notification to the recipient.
Re-Delivery Fees: If an incorrect address is provided or an entry attempt fails due to restricted access, a standard $15 re-delivery fee may apply to re-route the arrangement.
Substitutions: Flowers are natural and seasonal products. Exact flower varieties, colors, sizes, and shades may vary based on availability.
When necessary, our designers may make thoughtful substitutions of equal or greater value while maintaining the overall style, color palette, and feel of the arrangement ordered.
Once the arrangement has been successfully delivered or safely left at the provided address, Gather & Bloom Floral Design House is not responsible for theft, weather exposure, heat damage, animals, building personnel moving the arrangement, or other circumstances occurring after delivery.
Care for Flowers Upon Delivery
Hydration: Fresh cut flowers should be placed in clean, cool water immediately upon arrival. Top off or replace the vase water daily to maximize freshness. Our vase arrangements are delivered with water whenever appropriate. Because arrangements are transported by vehicle, some water may spill or escape from the vase during transit. This is normal. Upon receiving your arrangement, please check the water level and add fresh, cool water to the vase as needed to ensure the flowers remain properly hydrated. For the longest vase life, we recommend checking the water level daily and adding fresh water whenever necessary.
Placement: Keep arrangements in a temperature-controlled environment away from direct sunlight, heating or cooling vents, ceiling fans, and ripening fruit (which releases natural ethylene gas that hastens wilting).
Maintenance: Re-trim stems by cutting 1/2 inch at a 45-degree angle every 2 to 3 days using sharp shears, and remove any leaves submerged below the waterline to prevent bacterial growth.
